Rebecca Taylor is a performer, teacher, wildlife guru, and tour guide. She grew up on a rural horse farm in Missouri with her identical twin sister and biologist parents. Her unique childhood experiences have greatly influenced the ways in which she views the world.

Rebecca graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Summa Cum Laude, and as an Honors Scholar from The Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University and received her MFA in Theatre Performance & Pedagogy from Texas Tech University in 2022.

As a 7-year member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Rebecca strongly believes in the importance of academics and continuing scholarship in tandem with theatrical achievements and experiences. She is a 2020 recipient of their PKP's Love of Learning Award.
Rebecca also is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.

Rebecca has performed professionally around the country with theatre and excursion companies. She has performed in Alaska, Texas, North Carolina, Minnesota, Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas, Ohio, Vermont.
In addition to her performance credits, Rebecca has worked in many other facets of theatre. She has worked in administration, properties, electrics, scenery, costumes, box office, and deck crew. At Dorset Theatre Festival, Rebecca won the Richard M. Jackson Leadership Award for her work and promise as a theatre artist.
This past summer, she worked and performed in tourism and guest entertainment for her third season in Skagway, Alaska.
Currently, Rebecca is the Recruitment Coordinator and Special Projects Administrator in the Department of Theatre & Dance at Ball State University.

Rebecca loves the outdoors, Alaska, historical fiction, and networking with other theatre artists. She is happiest surrounded by people that share a passion and who work together to bring that passion to life. While she plans to work around the country, her dream is eventually to live, perform, and work year-round in the Last Frontier.
